OK. I keep on reading that I need to install my /boot partition under
the 1024 cylinder boundary for some reason concerning LILO or
something like that.
So my question is whether this is still necessary and why. I presently
have Mandrake 9.2 installed (boot partition and all) way beyond 1024
and it boots fine. Might it cause instability in the system?
Cheers
Mike
