You can download the floppy disk images to get started;
no need to get the entire ISO (the installation system
will download the bits it needs as individual packages).
Of course it will still take awhile no matter how you do
it, but I for one have done it -- and if one puts in a
Squid proxy in the front one can "cookie-cut" multiple
machines.
