intel integrated ethernet problems

I installed RedHat 8 on a new IBM ThinkCentre and I can not get the
ethernet card to work.
I have tried lspci and it returns the following:
03:08.0 Ethernet Controller: Intel Corp.: Unknown Device 1050 (rev 02)
...
Interrupt Pin A routed to IRQ 9
Region 0: Memory at e8100000 (32 bit non-prefetchable) [size=4k]
Region 1: I/O ports at 2000 [size=64]

I tried modprobe e100 and modprobe eepro100 with the same results:
"No Such Device"

I have tried installing it using the Gnome network setup tool (I think
called NEAT) and choosing the driver (I tried both Intel EtherExpress
Pro 100B and Intel EtherExpress/100) and both typing in the IRQ, MEM
and IO and leaving it blank and no matter what configuration I try it
tells me The Ethernet card could not be initialized.

dmesg does not mention anything about an ethernet card, just a lot of
"mtrr: no more MTRRs available", a couple mesages about the CD ROM and
a "spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7)

I checked the BIOS and changed the setting to non-Plug and play OS.
The network is not listed as one of the Boot Options.

I've read all the posts that I could find on this subject and I am
basically lost at this point.

Any thoughts?
