I have been trying to get my wpc11 card running in my compaq 902 laptop.
When I load the load the driver module (insmod -f module) it will lock up
my system when I run ifconfig. I too would really like to get this card
running.
I reloaded the driver (rtl8180_24x.o) and it eventually spits out:
Code: 89 9f 08 01 00 00 89 da 81 c3 ec 93 01 00 89 1a 81 c3 04 03
Segmentation fault
lsmod gives:
rtl8180_24x 249068 1 (initializing)
Now running ifconfig in a term window locks up the system.
