Hello,
we are contemplating installation of ProPack 3.0 on an 128 PE SGI Altix, which
currently runs ProPack 2.4 + patches.
To those who have already installed PP3.0, were there any problems with it? Is
it as stable as PP2.4? Are the Intel compilers (v 7.x, 8.x) behaving properly
with it, particularly MPI and OpenMP code? Any issues with using NPTL vs the
Linux thread Libs?
Are there any significant advantages to go with PP3.0 vs. staying with PP2.4?
Or vice-versa?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Michael Thomadakis
