Vaio laptop Z505HE setup for RH9

I am running RH9 on a sony vaio Z505HE laptop. I cant get it to set
the monitor to 1024x768. it always uses 800x600. what do i put in
XF86Config to get it working?

have tried the advice at
www.foogod.com/z505-linux/
without success.
