My computer - Asus P2B-LS - will not boot from the hard disk,
although it boots from floppy and CD without problem.
The boot order is C-A-CDROM.
It comes up with
============================
DISK BOOT FAILURE.
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
============================
The disk is SCSI, if that is relevant.
I looked at the MBR, using dd,
and it looked OK to me.
In any case, I don't get a grub> response as expected.
If anyone can cast any light on this failure,
I should be very grateful.
