Hi,
I can't install Mandrake 10 (OE) on a laptop.
I tried (several times) installation in both the following ways:
a. Pressing F1, selecting expert (preferred by me)
b. Using default installation (pressing ENTER).

Export mode procedure:
Installation proceeds till I'm given to load external modules from a floppy.
The default at this stage is YES, and, as I don't need it I try to select
NO by pressing TAB. NOTHING happens. I've tried at this stage to press ANY
keyboard key but it stucks-no response.

Default installation:
I get stuck at the Keyboard selection stage. Although I have a mouse pointer
at this stage, it won't move, nor do I get keyboard response.

Both the laqtop (including keyboard, mouse and TAB key) work in Win2K (dual
boot), and the MDK installation media is fine (worked flawless in another
PC).

Laptop hardware details:
Compaq EVO N 600c (512 MB RAM)
Optical USB Microsoft wheel mouse (connected to PS2 port with USB/PS2
adapter-works fine in Win2K).

Please advise .

TIA
