Disk Manager

Would someone help on this subject,pliz, i have a disk manager
installed on my pc and i want to install linux, i have to hard drives
one WD were i have Windows XP installed(Master) and a Maxtor were i
want to install linux(slave), when i install GRUB or LILO will it
cause problems to my booting process?
