Hi,
Being quite a newcomer to Linux, I followed the non official instructions
found here : http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=3924
Everything went great until the configuration script of Enlightenment
itself. The guide asks to type : ./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/enlightenment with-imlib-prefix=/usr/local/imlib
Though, the configure script answers that with-imlib-prefix is an invalid
variable name. I just found out that it works better without all the
"with-imlib-prefix=/usr/local/imlib" stuff, since the configure script
finds the imlib correctly without any help.
The problem resides in the fnlib. I installed it correctly, with prefix
/usr/local/fnlib but now I can't find how to make Enlightenment's configure
script find this library. When I send the command ./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/enlightenment , it says :
(...)
checking for Fnlib_init in -lFnlib... no
ERROR: Enlightenment needs a system with libFnlib.so (fnlib)
I'm quite sure that the problem is with the configure script, since I
installed fnlib correctly just a moment before.
How can I force the script to find the library ?
Thanks in advance
N.F.
