Fedora Core 2 (FC2) and sis 7012 sound card error

Help me!!! :)

My sound card don't works in a FC2. When I boot my system and after
login this windows gives the welcome:

Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device: /dev/dsp can't be opened for playback (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
#####################################################################

I changed the permissions of the file but when I boot the system always
ara as:

[agomez@algomu agomez]$ ls -l /dev/dsp
crw------- 1 agomez root 14, 3 feb 23 2004 /dev/dsp

When I installed the fedora, the sound test worked to me correctly, once
installed, I do not hear when I run the test. Although it seems to work
when I play music, I suppose that it will be to be redirected to
/dev/null because no sound.
