Hi

I'm using SuSE Linux 9.1 with KDE 3.2. Every time I start my PC, KNotify
start working. It use about 60~80% of my CPU, and the hard disk is working
as fast as it can. X take the remaining of the cpu. After about 5 minutes,
KNotify take 500mb of memory. Cron start in the middle of this, and the PC
is totally unusable. Pressing CTRL-ALT-Baskspace only restart the whole
process.

I'm not sure what KNotify is for, but from what i've seen on google, it seem
to be related to sound.

Here's my 2 questions:
- How do I repair this?
- If I need to start in console only to debug this, then how do I start in
console only?

Thanks
