I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is.

I've just upgraded to Gnome 2.8 on a Slackware 9.1 system.
As far as I know, I've compiled all the programs in the correct order.

When I try to access the help menus nothing happens. Usually, there is no error, just no response.

On screem-0.12.0 I get this error:
Could not display help for Screem
    The specified location is invalid.

    Evolution-2.0.2 gives this error:
(evolution-2.0:25035): Bonobo-WARNING **: Error: 'The specified location is invalid.'

But most apps don't give any feedback at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    George
