My computer runs windows 98 with one hard drive and 3 partitions;
C:(25GB), D(5GB) and E(1GB). I want to add Linux with a dual boot
option. Partitions D: and E: contain only data files. If I copied
the data from D: and E: over to C: then deleted the files from D: and
E:, can I use D: and E: to install Linux? Or do I have to resize or
shrink the existing partitions with some other program?
I picked up a book called " Moving to Linux" by M Ganne. He mentions
something about windows taking up the entire partition table even if I
delete the files from D: and E:? So, I'm supposed to shrink the
existing Windows partition or something like that??
