Hi,
I'm having problems with an ECS UCR-61 usb card reader.
I wish to mount a SM card previously used by a digital camera. Notice that
the same card works perfectly with another usb reader I own.
When I plug-in the reader, the kernel throws a message like this:
hub.c: new USB device 00:04.2-1, assigned address 13
The light leds on the reader indicates that it's connected and that he
recognized a SM card in the slot (it's a multiple-format reader).
But next, I could not find any /dev/sd* device to mount. I don't know how to
create that device file, if this could be the solution... help? :)
If it could be useful, those are the kernel messages thrown when I
disconnect the reader:
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1592
WARNING: USB Mass Storage data integrity not assured
USB Mass Storage device found at 13
usb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:04.2-1 address 13
lsmod reports that usb-storage module is loaded.
On the same o.s. (mdk 9.2, 2.4.22) I got successfully working many usb disks
and another card reader, mounting the sd* devices automatically created by
devs.
Can't imagine what's wrong with that ecs...
