I'm sure I didn't have this when I first installed Slackware 10 :)
It appears that *something* is catting /etc/hotplug/usb.agent to the
display when my system boots, presumably as part of the call to rc.hotplug
in rc.M
I can't for the life of me figure out what's actually causing the problem,
and it's annoying to see pages of script go flying past on bootup! :)
hotplug's working fine; there's too much data goes past for shift-pgup
to let me see if any relevant message was printed out prior to the
problem, and of course it doesn't get captured in dmesg output so I can't
check there.
Just an annoyance, so not that big a deal, but I like to keep an eye on
the boot messages as the system boots just in case there's a problem, and
this means I can't do that...
Any ideas?
cheers
Jules
