FC3 video resolution configuration (stupid question!)

How do I configure video resolutions in Xorg, FC3? The little
application in Gnome won't do, I need something that will setup
xorg.conf and include 1024x768 modes. I have a GeForce 4 MX card, which
gets detected alright, but so far i only got it to work in the very
annoying low resolution of 800x600....
