My friend has a small company approx 10 people, and the same number of
computers, running WindowsXP. After finding out about the rather
exorbitant costs of Windows 2003 SB Server he is looking to a Redhat or
other servers that can provide some of the centralized services that he
is looking for. He is not looking to get rid of the WindowsXP clients
as yet.
Needs
1. Print Server
2. File Server
3. Authenticating users (active directory)
4. Exchange Server / Outlook - for email consolidation and others
5. A Fax Server
6. Share point portal type of thing for sharing files/documents
internally.
Any pointers as to what in the Linux server world would be analogous to
the needs above.
Thanks
-Ravi
