Yes my friend is predominantly tied to the Windows Platform. So suse
and other third party addons provide all the services below
1. Print Server
2. File Server
3. Authenticating users (active directory)
4. Exchange Server / Outlook - for email consolidation and others
5. A Fax Server
6. Share point portal type of thing for sharing files/documents
internally.
wow thats awesome. Anyone have any clear ideas on what some of those
utilities are, in addition if you have had experiences doing the same I
would be most interested. I am trying to research and compile a list of
the analogous technologies in the open source arena, will post as soon
as I am done.
