I was trying to get oracle 9i installed on my RedHat Fedora Core 1.
It was asking for glib 2.2. I had glib 2.3.
I installed/over-writed with a glib 2.2.5 which I found on rpmfind.net.
After that, every damn application was still looking for glib2.3.
I checked /lib/libc.so.6 link, it was pointing to the newly installed glib 2.2.5. No problems there.
So I just renamed libc-2.2.5.so->libc-2.3.2.so.
Well, now it tells me that some shared libraries are not loaded.
What am I suppose to do now? I can't even run telnet/rpm. In fact, can even run lots of stuffs.
I'm afraid of restarting/logging out the system. Might not be able to get in later.
To e-mail, remove the obvious
