bootloader on dual boot system doesn't show linux

fedora core and win2k are both installed. in the past i'd see a list
of either win2k or fedora. after doing a clean install of win2k (to
change from ntfs to fat32) that list no longer appears.

i believe the bootloader grub generates that list, or it may be lilo.
booting into knoppix confirmed that fedora is still there. hda1 is
windows, hda2 and hda3 are linux.

how do i find and fix the bootloader, if that is the problem, please?

from what i've read the MBR (main boot record?) may be effecting
things, but that's just speculation on my end.

thanks,
