... quick / terse education:
Linux == kernel
GNU/Linux == kernel + GNU utilities
Linux distro == GNU/Linux + vendor utilities + third party software
to answer, the choice of a Linux distro isnt about a
'nice duel booting interface' - it's about what the
distro vendor offers you to meet your requirements.
you should make a list of software you require and
which environment you prefer. other things to consider
would be installation and configuration tools. after
you've made your list, do some research to see which
distro(s) match your requirements (www.distrowatch.com).
maybe choose 2-3 distros and run their live cd, if
available, or install them and compare each of them,
then select one to match what you need/want. mandrake
and suse are popular choices, in general.
