NO-NO-NO-NO-NO! Stop doing this, people. It's literally impossible to
predict what package might next need to take up a bunch of space in a
specific partition, such as /tmp for downloading webfiles with certain
browsers, /opt if you decide to install Oracle tools, /var if you turn on
heavy logging for your webserver or mail server, /usr if you start to
compile multiple kernels, etc., etc., etc.
It's a religious war, but the heathens who suggest making teeny-tiny little
partitions that "protect" your system by making it overflow partitions at
the damndest moments and forcing you to repartition your machine in the
midst of something important are mistaken. Heathens, I say! Listen to them
not!
