I have downloaded the four .iso files from Redhat, and then burned them
on separate CDs. I have installed a new hard drive in my Windows XP
machine (SP 2), and configured it as another drive (drive g:). I put in
the first Fedora Core 3 CD, with the boot.iso file, into the CD-ROM
drive. Then I rebooted my pc. It doesn't boot from the CD-ROM. (In an
old Windows OS, I used to be able to interrupt boot-up with F8 and then
re-set the BIOS to boot from floppy or CD, but I can't seem to do this
on XP). I've googled and googled but the adivce I read is: "Then reboot
your system and it will automatically reboot from the CD Rom dirve".
How do I install Linux (Fedora Core 3) for a multi-boot system with
Windows XP. Or how do I prepare a bootable CD that contains the Linux
OS?
Thanks for your help.
