[compton ~]$ host 65.99.184.148
Host not found.

Well, you;'re really providing a lot of details so that people can help
you. What kind of connection do you have? Dialin? DSL? Cable?

Mozilla is an application that uses the network connection provided by
your operating system. Does your O/S _have_ such a connection? What is
the output of '/sbin/ifconfig -a' and '/sbin/route -n' ? What do you
find in /etc/resolv.conf? Your ISP appears to be United Systems Access
in Kennebunk, but they don't seem to know how to configure DNS servers
properly. They told ARIN that the name servers were run by prexar.com
on 65.99.130.5 and 65.99.130.67, so those addresses may be the ones that
should be in /etc/resolv.conf.
