Hi,
For some time, I have tried to install ATI -Drivers on Debian (having
graphics card ATI Radeon 9250 128Mt DDR AGP)
My setup in a nutshell:
- kernel 2.4.2
- XFree86 4.1.0.1
According to ATIs FAQ (http://www.ati.com/products/catalyst/linux.html#10),
my card with this setup should work ok.
I have followed the instructions of
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/firegl/readme0325.txt and
http://www.g-tec.co.at/ati.html
Still having problems; the server error thread:
...
(WW) Warning, couldn't open module fglrx
(EE) Failed to load module "fglrx" (module does not exist,0)
(EE) No drivers available
...
I have followed several threads concerning this but still facing dead end.
Suggestions?
Thanks beforehand!
