Problems with Suspend To Ram/S3/STR (Msi Kt-880 Delta)

    I've been trying to make Suspend To Ram (Acpi state S3) work. The system
    goes to sleep ok when I command "echo -n 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep".

    The problem is, the system fails to resume. When I click any key, the fans
    and disks start to spin but the display does not get signal and the
    keyboard does not respond (kbd lights don't even work). The only way to
    bring the computer usable state is to cycle power.

    I'm using kernel 2.6.11. I've tried unloading usb modules before suspending,
    kernel boot options "acpi_sleep=s3_bios and "acpi_sleep=s3_mode" and also
    patches and Radeon video bios reset application at
    http://www.doesi.gmxhome.de/linux/tm800s3/s3.html

    This is a desktop computer with MSI KT-880 Delta motherboard. Among others,
