  Dear Linux friends

I installed Fedora Core 3
on my Acer TravelMate 260 notebook w/ i830 graphics.

In text mode (init 3) it works fine.

In X11 mode the right-hand part of the screen is out
and cursor is just a big all-color rectangle
and fonts are ugly.
Also sound does not work.
The resolution 800x600 was set instead of 1024x768.

How can I fix it?

In Red Hat 7.3 and WindowsXP both sound and X11 work fine.

Thanks for any help.
