Hi Folks,
I'm having problems setting up my urpmi on Mandrake 9.1. I've removed
all the media that formerly was associated with urpmi by running
urpmi.removemedia -a
as suggested at <http://www.urpmi-addmedia.org/index2.php>. Then I
followed the directions at that same web site, using version 9.1, i586,
updates (only). I tried the command generated, but it isn't working,
as shown:
<------begin paste from console------->
# urpmi.addmedia --update updates
http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/pub/linux/Mandrakelinux/old/updates/9.1/RPMS
with ../base/hdlist.cz

<--------end paste from console--------->
I've tried lots of different mirror sites, all suggested by that same
web site, and I've tried the compressed index. None of it works. I've
tried over 100 times, so I don't think it's a matter of finding a time
when the server is not busy. What do you think? Any suggestions would
be appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy
