Unfortunately, the version of LILO that comes with RedHat (anything) is
woefully out-of-date: by about 6 years.
In the best of worlds, re-installing the boot loader with "lba32" disk
addressing should correct the problem: either add "lba32" to the
/etc/lilo.conf file, or install with: >lilo -L
Your machine may be too old to support "lba32" disk addressing; but give it a
shot. Win98 uses it.
