Fedora Core 3 and Raid

Can someone tell me which Raid Adaptors work well with FC3?

I've been trying to use an Adaptec 2400a Raid Controller and have had
no success. It sees the array and allows me to select my partitions,
but it always fails to format.

I've tried the i2o work around, manually selecting the i2o drivers, and
that didn't help.

I'm assuming there's another IDE Raid Adaptor that is compatible with
Fedora??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
