Help needed for RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0 with Marvell Yukon GIgabit

    Dear Sirs and Madams,

    I have installed RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0 (downloaded from
    redhat.com with trial subscription) on ASUS P5GD1PRO motherboard.

    The motherboard comes with on-board Marvell/Yukon Gigabit Ethernet
    Controller. Unfortunately, the device name is not in the supported
    list.

    I have the linux driver from the manufacturer, a file named
    'install-7_06.tar.bz2'. But the installation instructions are not quite
    useful.

    As I delved into RHEL documentation for how to recompile the KNL, the
    docs says custom KNL is not supported by RH team and it is not covered
    in docs.

    If anyone can help me, please....
