I just installed a Tyan S2895 Motherboard, with two Opteron
and 2GB of memory on each side. BIOS correctly report 4GB of
memory. However Linux reports 2.70GB of total physical memory.
Any idea whats going on ? I'd like to be able to use all 4G ...
May be it's some sort of a BIOS setting ?
All memory seems to be good, I have run MemTest86 ...
Thanks,
rudi
