Apologies if you see two replies from me.

Apache looks like the best one to go for. You might have it installed. If
so, fire it up and point a browser at http://127.0.0.1/manual/ where you
might find a pretty good manual.

If you're not quite at that stage have a look at www.apache.org where the
source code and extensive manuals can be found.
