I have recently installed Slackware 10.1 on my computer and am having
problems getting the internet to work. I am able to use the internet
from a livecd, so I know it is not the hardware that is the problem.
When I try to connect to google.com in Konqueror, it displays the
following error message:
Loading http://www.google.com
Unknown host www.google.com
When I try to ping 192.168.0.1, which is not a valid address, but
still, it displays the folllowing error message:
ping 192.168.0.1
connect: Network is unreachable
I have a bind installed on my computer, mabe that is the problem. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
