I'm still having problems getting my triple boot to work.
My partitions are like this at the moment:
hd0,0: FAT32: GRUB, Windows 98 [boot]
hd0,1: Unallocated
hd0,2: FAT32: Windows XP
hd0,3: ReiserFS: Ubuntu Linux
hd0,4: Linux Swap
hd0,5: Unallocated
When I boot up I get the GRUB menu, Ubuntu works fine from there.
Windows XP starts Windows' boot loader, from boot.ini - There is
another Windows XP option and a Windows 98.
The Windows 98 one doesn't work when selected.
My question is, if Windows 98 is installed on the boot partition : how
do I boot into it in GRUB AND in boot.ini.
I want my grub to be like this:
Ubuntu
Windows XP
Windows 98
Windows [Boot Switches]
I want to be able to boot straight into Windows XP and Windows 98 from
GRUB without having to go through Windows' boot.ini boot loader.
However, I want the Windows [Boot Switches] to, and it'll just be a
place I can put alternate boot modes - such as safe mode.
In QTParted, I can't seem to change the file systems of the unallocated
space, does this mean the partition/space is unusable? or is it because
there is FS around it?
