Got a new APC BX1500 UPS. Want to hook it up to Linux box...

Will I be able to view the status on my UPS and shutdown the computer
automatically with my new APC BX1500 UPS? It uses USB connection with an
ethernet network jack. I am running Debian with Kernel 2.6.12. I hope it
will work.

I tried it in Windows XP Pro. SP2, and it was easy to handle. I didn't
even need to install anything from its CD. I was surprised.
