Newbie Question

I have a user who has lost their Linux support. They have asked me to add
samba to an existing install. I tried doing it according to Wiley
Publications "Red Hat Linux 9 Bible". It fails to install.

Looking at services, don't see smb listed. How do I add this in after the
fact?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
