Hi,
Thanks for the input. I have downloaded the drivers for my version of
linux. The next step is to find out how to get the drivers loaded so
that the Debian OS will recognize my SATA drive.
My son works with Win systems and told me that when Win is installing,
if it can't find a hard drive it asks for drivers. I don't know how
the process might work with the Debian Sarge installer. My first
try, the installer found the two IDE drives and didn't ask for info
about other potential drives. Do you know if it will ask for drivers
if no hard drive is found? I can unplug my IDE drives for the
installation if that makes sense.
any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
