Re: How to Install Debian Sarge on SATA drive???

Do you have the latest Sarge 3.1 installer CD? We have many servers with
a small IDE drive for the OS and two huge Sata drives for the data. Our
installs always found all the drives on the first pass.

And my main Debian workstation at home has the same configuration, but
with one rather than two satas. Never had any problem with a standard
install.

Now... If you have a Mobo with Nvidia then you may have to do some other
stuff first - like compile a new kernel on another machine or with an IDE
drive first.
