Help me plz!!!

hi to everybody, i need ur help
i made 3 partitions of my computer,to install linux.
after setting boot magic to use linux as first o.s. instead of window
xp now whenever i turn on my pc,during the boot, it gives me the word
"Grub"and it stucks with it!!! what does it mean? how can i enter
window or linux now?plz answer me
p.s.: i already tried to set as active the partition with linux,or
window,and i also deleted the partition containing boot magic,but it
doesn't change it. I made these operations with the partition magic
floppyes i got.
