writing configurations
I'm new to using Linux and have only successfully installed it for the
first time last week. Where ever I go to find information I see people
discussing writing configurations. This is a fundamental change from
Macintosh or Microsoft, we are expected to do things like that with
Windows or Mac.
Is there some where an explanation of what this is about and how to do
it, or can someone at least tell me the basics?
Thanks.
