yum update fedora 4 undefined symbol: krb5_prompter_pocix

Ive used fedora for a while, this is the first time Ive ever seen it
completely not work.
I keep it updated with yum. After my last update I get:
115 ROOT fedora /home/jeff yum update
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:
/usr/lib/libkrb5.so.3: undefined symbol: krb5_prompter_pocix,
version krb5_3_MIT
Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.
It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.4.1 (#1, May 16 2005, 15:19:29)
[GCC 4.0.0 20050512 (Red Hat 4.0.0-5)]
If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please go to
the yum faq at:
http://wiki.linux.duke.edu/YumFaq
This seems to be serious, because after reading some other documents on
this problem, I cant even use rpm:
116 ROOT fedora /home/jeff rpm -qa | grep python
/usr/lib/rpm/rpmq: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkrb5.so.3:
undefined symbol: krb5_prompter_pocix, version krb5_3_MIT
117 ROOT fedora /home/jeff rpm -qa
/usr/lib/rpm/rpmq: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkrb5.so.3:
undefined symbol: krb5_prompter_pocix, version krb5_3_MIT
118 ROOT fedora /home/jeff rpm
rpm: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkrb5.so.3: undefined symbol:
krb5_prompter_pocix, version krb5_3_MIT
Any help is appreciated as I dont want to have to re-install my entire
system.
Thanks
.
