That link doesn't tell about a successful installation....
I use (for the moment) only an IDE HD, a 250Gb
Have tried liveCDs, Ubuntu, Kubuntu and Mandriva
All looks good, except for no network, no NIC recognized
and no sound?
("Instructions made of steel wire" refers to an idiom we have in finnish,
"Rautalangasta väännetyt ohjeet", meaning explicit instructions)
