Anyone have any suggestions why Grub won't boot a hard drive?Maybe /vmlinuz is a symbolic link to a file that does not exist?
Installed and working system.
Rebooted several times during installation.
Grub boots up to 1.5 then stops at a grub prompt.
root (hd0,0) reports ext2 filesystem
kernel (hd0,0)/v {followed by tab key shows vmlinuz file, so
files are there}
kernel (hd0,0)/vmlinuz {fails with error 15 - file not
found}
Using TAB to complete the filename in "kernel ... /vm..." command fails
with same error.
Is it not finding the vmlinuz file or some other file?
