Distro advise

Hey all,

I am looking for a distro to install on an old p75 system. the only problem is that I can't boot off a cd-rom so i would need a distro that installs (or boots) off the floppy drive. I have been searching distrowatch.com but they all seem to be cd-based installers. The distro needs to be as small as possible but including gcc so i can compile samba and other server tools. Anyone know of anything that fits?

Cheers
