As Bill Marcum implied, getting you effective assistance is going to be
effectively impossible unless you follow up, telling us what you tried
and where things went wrong. At this point, we could only guess: Did
you encounter a screen telling you that no hard disks were found?
(Regardless of which diagnostic messages you were shown, what did they
say?) Did you have problems figuring out partitioning? Did you have
problems setting up a boot manager? The possiblities are nearly
endless, and it would not be feasible for us to speculatively address
each of the many _possible_ difficulties you could have encountered.

Please do follow up with details of your problem, in any event.
