FC5 Installation Problems

Hi All,

I'm having a few problems with installing FC5.

First of all, I have booted into recovery mode and used the 'dmraid -v
-ay' command to show my RAID partitions. Now that they are shown what
do I do next? How do I know which is which? All I have is alot of
drives with an nvidia prefix with seemingly random letters afterward.
E.g. nvidia_ccffghj or something like that. There are quite a few of
them, around 8 or 9 about equal to how many partitions I have. All I
want to do is be able to install linux on a special partition on the
first Array. I use nforce (fake) software raid.

Secondly, Ignoring the RAID problem I tried booting the graphical
installation, however the install hangs at the part which displays a
black screen and black X cursor. I've left it on for a few hours and
nothing changes there is no CD ROM or HDD activity either. How do I
rectify this problem??

I am trying to do a Harddrive install but until I get the RAID problem
sorted the installer cannot even see the partition where the ISOs are
stored. I have burned Disc One primarily to boot from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm a newbie to Linux (this is
my first linux distro) so please be gentle!

Cheers

.
