I have win98 on 1 partition and linux on another partition(this
partition is screwed up-linux not working). so I want to reinstall
linux by deleting the old linux partition.
So boot your install CD and tell it to delete the partition. How you do
that depends on which distribution you're installing, so if you need
further help you should clarify that point.
