Hi I wonder if someone could help please with this?
Using on solaris an instruction
$ mailx -t -r replies@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx < inputfile
This option tells mailx to take the details of to:, from: etc from the
inputfile
on linux (Redhat 3.0), the -t option is not recognised
Anyone know what the equivalent for linux might be?
"man mailx" doesn't work (at least on the system I have access to)
Appreciate any suggestions.
man mail
and/or
Upgrade/change to new release of OS.
On Mandriva Linux
$ mail -h
mail: option requires an argument -- h
Usage: mail -eiIUdFntBDNHRV~
^

$ type mailx
mailx is /usr/bin/mailx
$ ls -al /usr/bin/mailx
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jan 20 16:50 /usr/bin/mailx -> ../../bin/mail
.
